I really like Nolan a lot. I think coach (Arnold) Gonzalez and his staff do a really good job preparing kids for the next level. Nolan is going to see time for us.

My hats off to Coach Tarver and the Howard coaching staff. They have done a great job. We had some breaks go our way. I am happy for our kids, they have worked hard and it paid off for them.

I think Coach Kerr and his staff have done a great job with what they bring to the table.

But I think that's the most important job on the coaching staff.

I see a kid who is getting a second chance to get the education he missed out on after high school. He has a chance to be academic all-conference.

We're too anxious right now. We have to cut down on our strikeouts and start putting some pressure on the opponent's defense.
