I really want to build a program for the community and Madison. As it grows, I hope to add a men?s and a mixed team as well.

[Brown and Hamblin quickly adopted the Hill as well.] It's such a community-oriented neighborhood that we fell in love with it, ... We spend a lot of our time just doing things around here.

It means a lot. The Golden Apple shows our community what teachers are doing. It shows that great things are happening in Lee County.

We immediately felt the warmth and pride of this community. [I] felt even stronger that if I was given the opportunity by Dr. Geoffroy that it'd be one I felt was the right place and the right time.

This is the first program I've seen that can impact a whole community and a school. This can do wonders for the school climate.

I hope so. It would be neat for the game, the alumni and the community.
