I run a program called Amer-I-Can. We've taught in prisons, schools, juvenile facilities and we teach in the community. We have the greatest record from the standpoint of dealing with grade point averages, disciplinary action and attendance in schools.

For our standpoint, the stadiums are excellent.

Schools without Fear; Group Activities for Building Community

In some people's minds, a casino is going to open and a community is going to be magically transformed from a frog to a prince overnight, ... It's not that simple at all. And if anyone believes so, they're fooling themselves.

The consensus is that we don't want to do it; we don't want to leave Pueblo. We've had record attendance in Pueblo the last two years. But enough people have real concerns about the hotel industry down there, so much so that they said we should start looking elsewhere.

We just want to point out places where they can hit and what they should hit off the tee. (We) just (have to) get in their mind a kind of game plan for each one of them and hopefully they will stick to that game plan.
