I saw the game on TV when they played here, and Caron played really well that game. He almost stole the game. I wanted to give him a game before we go to the break and thought that was the right game to put him out there.

We wanted him to concentrate on his game. Take away all of the distractions. I'm more than happy for him and for our hockey team.

He played really well. He moved the puck, and he was solid defensively. He played like I was expecting.

Sidney Crosby is an emotional guy. You don't want to take that away. It's part of his game.

Yeah, we played hard. We worked hard and played hard and I though we were the best team on the ice tonight, but we need breaks to win games. We didn't have any breaks -- all the breaks were against us. A few calls were against us, so it was one of those nights.

The good thing is, we didn't quit. Hopefully, they'll bring that third period to the next game.
