I should have left when he got here. He didn't recruit me. I had no problem with (former) coach (Mike) DeBord. Kelly doesn't know anyone. I feel absolutely betrayed.

That coach has no clue what he's doing. That's what I say when I look at myself.

We've got a new coach in Mike Babcock, who has no preconceived notions about either guy. They're both in their early 30s and they both are on one-year contracts, so I expect a healthy competition and I hope in the end the team is the benefactor.

The problem comes when you say that danger is part of the equation. Then you don't do any more work on safety. That shouldn't happen.

The offense is wide open. (Former coach) Larry Brown wasn't too fond of the 3-point shot. Flip wants his guys to do what they do best. They have a lot of freedom out there. They are playing with a lot of confidence and not looking over their shoulders.

The only way this thing won't survive, ... is if these coaches can't coach and recruit, and if I screw up. They ain't going to screw up, because this league has always been successful because of our basketball coaches.
