I started bad this season and struggled hard thinking I must do something before the Olympics. I feel relieved to have performed very well in Sapporo.

I made changes to my mechanics recently and I tried to see what would happen with them here in Sapporo. I'm relieved that I began producing results just in time for the Olympics, and I want to perform in a stronger field for a reality check.

My jumps are getting better and better. Most of the top 15 athletes didn't take part here this time, but I'm sure they will in the next round, so I can see where I am.
