I started selling insurance in 1979 and continued doing that until 1985 when I opened my own insurance firm.

I have started exploring my own life and have started valuing myself. I have started valuing my individuality.

I started out typing and filing and answering the phones for a little nine-person firm. And that nine-person firm gave me my chance to find my own way.

I'm in my own little lane, doing just me. I don't have to fit in.

I was definitely a late bloomer and didn't really come into my own until I was probably in my 20s.

And then I bought my own horse, which I had until it died.
