I strongly disagree with the conclusion that 44,000 tons of dangerous high level waste can be stored -- above ground and below the flight path of Air Force jets -- safely. This fight is not over.

We strongly disagree with the commission's position that she was being dishonest and seeking leniency.

Transporting high-level radioactive waste to Utah is as dangerous as it would be transporting it to Nevada, ... Thousands of tons of deadly nuclear material will pass homes, schools, businesses and churches in communities all across the country, and there is simply no way to safely do this.

The idea that shipping tens of thousands of tons of high-level nuclear waste to Utah for a pit stop before transporting it further to a hypothetical permanent repository will improve the safety and security of the waste is ludicrous.

This high level waste is still very radioactive, but there is no fissile material and when it has been vitrified it is unusable for anything.

Obviously we strongly disagree with an appraisal of $100 million.
