I suppose it's exciting, but it's not a showdown or anything like that. To us, it's just a football game against a good team.

I just think it would have helped the small schools.

Give Danvers credit for sticking in there. It was there for the taking on our part.

We played a good game. We had some kids who didn't have varsity experience who played well.

We didn't tackle in the first half and then they took advantage of our mistakes. We're supposed to be the bigger and stronger team, but we didn't show it (Friday).

The football team's been playing well . . . and we need to keep that momentum going as we go to the playoffs. It's a great test for us. They're a (fine) football team, that environment, that stadium, that's what gets you ready for the playoffs.
