I take exotic woods and make funky furniture. One of my favorite pieces I'm showing this year is a ying-yang curio that's four-feet in diameter. The doors are in that (ying-yang) shape and there are two shelves that seem like they're floating and are the dots.

It's one of my most pure pieces, and not just the way it looks. Balanchine felt able to not use all his ideas, not to cram in information. I try to achieve that. It's another step closer to some kind of ideal. But it's not so simple as a classical notion of purity.

The large pieces of furniture and the decorator items are the first to go.
