I tell myself I'm almost done. As painful as it might be, keep going. All the others are back there, keep pushing.

Some girls have different strategies. They might not start out as fast. I know the other girls are trying as hard as I am. I'm probably just focusing on keeping my pace and staying strong.

I didn't know what to expect, and it's been fun so far. I try to think of ways to make myself go faster and listen to splits. I pretty much have to work off what I have.
