I tell [the kids] to just go out and play the way you can. Right now, we're not playing up to our capability.

Heather has pitched in every game, coming in relief or starting. She's had her good moments. The key [to her success] is location.

I'm confident in my pitchers. Between pitching, [pitch] location and defense, we have to put the pieces of the puzzle together. I told [all the players] if they don't believe in themselves it's going to be a long year.

It's great for us. We've just got to keep playing defense and play even better if we want to win the whole thing. I think we can do it.

What matters is we're playing. We'll play in the parking lot at Popeye's. I guarantee you I'll play in the parking lot at Wal-Mart if that's where they tell us to play. That's all we have is football. We've lost everything else.

We're not playing 100-percent yet. We have work to do.
