I think a long-term TV show is probably not for me, but doing a few years of something could be interesting.

Obviously there's a lot more to a TV show than just a book... I think adaptations are a bit tricky for the screenwriters because they're worried about upsetting the author.

I think you have to love the characters that you write. I don't know how you could possibly write a TV show where you didn't love the characters.

You might be the leader of the team, but without the rest of the team, you're not doing anything. I think that's the way I look at my job as the lead of a TV show.
