I think all the rule changes that they made this year was to give a better show for the fans, and I love the changes, I think most of them have worked. But the touch icing is one rule I'd like to see changed. It's just asking for an injury.

It's playoff hockey. We could've won 2-1, or 3-2 in overtime. It just so happened it was 6-1. We just need to forget about this win, and we need to come back and play our style of game.

If I play, I want to be able to help the team win. (The doctors) told me that if I want to play, I'll have to play with pain.

I have pain, but I can't really make the injury any worse. I haven't been in a situation where I had to push guys or take a hit, I've only skated. But the skating is going really well. I'm pretty happy with today's results. Seeing as I can't really make the injury any worse, I should be ready to play soon.

It feels better, but it's going slowly. I can skate, but I have no strength in the ankle.

Both Rick and I are lifelong fans of Coronation Street so to be in the Rovers with the regulars is an ambition fulfilled.
