I think at this time in our lives, the teachers are more aware of the things that you do. I don't think we realized what you go through.

We are very close. Each time we have gone back to the table we've had good dialogue on both sides.

Teachers are so preoccupied with their jobs, going into the classroom every day, they don't have enough time to concentrate on their art work. By creating an exhibit limited to art teachers, it creates a level playing field. It's kind of a reward for those people who perform these multiple roles.

She's responsible for a major attitude adjustment among the teachers on the team. She is as much of a core teacher as any of us. Many inclusion teachers are the odd man out who only cater to a few students. But for our team, she has changed that image. She is integral. We could not function without her.

I think the classrooms suffer with half-time teachers.
