I think every company wants to attract long-term investors.

We do not believe that Mike's conduct during the tournament appropriately represents the deep-seated values on which our company was built and continues to operate. While we regret his actions leading to this decision, we wish Mike well in future ventures.

We're taking these actions to better control retirement plan expenses, position the company for business growth and competitive strength, and preserve employees' earned retirement benefits, while instituting a leading-edge 401(k) plan that will be one of the richest in the country and a standard in the United States. We also believe these are prudent and balanced steps at a time of uncertainty and conflicting legislative and regulatory directions about defined benefit retirement plans in the United States.

San Diego was a good experience for the team. It let everyone know what we needed to do to win.

It's going to be a challenging weekend.

Our problem this year is we play down to some teams and up to others. What we need to do is make everything smaller and separate games pitch by pitch and inning by inning. That makes the big picture easier to handle in the long run.
