I think everybody on this team cares deeply about him. We've got to just be supportive.

I can't coach anymore. I want to run a team.

Wherever I've been it's always been about team. That's the only thing that really matters. If that doesn't matter you ought to run track, play golf, play tennis, things like that.

He's humiliated. He feels like he let himself down and everybody else around him down. He cares deeply for his family. He's torn up by what the impact of this will be on them. It's been a nightmare, a horrible ordeal. ... But this is what he believes is the appropriate thing to do.

This is not an individual sport. Everywhere I went it's about team. I've been coaching the same way my whole life. I never had a problem getting people to understand.

He's your leader, he's arguably your best player. We got a young team. They look up to somebody like him. If he doesn't show positive vibes it's not going to help them. He always tells me, 'No coach, I'm involved, I'm not getting down.' I said, 'Sometimes you have to show them that.' Again, that's not his nature, but it would be helpful.
