I think everybody was surprised — I was looking forward to working with him for the next four years.

I think if our police officers put their energies in the borough solely, and we have one officer per patrol car, we'd have sufficient police services for the borough. I don't see other communities having two police officers riding around in the same patrol car.

We don't have anyone in the pipeline right now. But, we'll probably go with the chief's recommendation.

We want to wait and see what direction we want to go in.

That's something that's been discussed for a long time.

This is a very important decision, and we want to try to make sure we make the right choice.
