I think Gateway finally realized HP was in a very strong position and it would have cost them more to wait (to settle).

I think we realized what was at stake,

Ariel Sharon finally decided when he took this position, the disengagement, that this is the only way, and he realized that this is the way to gain the support of the world, ... After doing the disengagement, Ariel Sharon came to the U.N. for the first time, he came from the feeling that the world is not against us anymore.

It did send a message to a number of companies of how serious we are. We would prefer not to go the litigation route, but will do so if necessary.

We're pleased with the outcome and that this is now behind us and we can both move forward.

We are in a very strong position. But at the same time, we want to reach a fair settlement in this if they chose to.
