I think he misunderstood what was going on. He probably thought he was going home since the nurse called me.

I told them my concerns of how Kyle walked out of the school unnoticed and how my friend came by and picked up my other two children (last week) when (my friend) was not on the list (of those authorized to do so). Too many times people are walking the hall with no visitor's badge on, and it could be anybody walking off the street.

I have never talked to him about not leaving school, but the school has. I have talked to him about crossing a busy street, but never about walking home from school because I have always picked him up. I have talked to him since, and he has a better understanding now.

She never contacted the office or the nurse to find out if someone was actually picking him up.

My wife [Melissa] talked to his mom, and she said he led every league coming up in home runs. The main thing is, he puts the ball in play, makes contact and gets hits. He's ahead of most guys already.
