I think I had a shyness about me, I think I discovered acting as a way to break out of that and as a way of belonging, a sense of being special.

Actually, acting turned out to be the perfect job for me, because I had a lot of different interests. I thought about being a priest at one point. I thought about being a teacher. I thought about being a lawyer. But I think acting is probably the best job for me.

Shyness displays itself differently in me. I think it's more an awkwardness.

I think anybody would be hard pressed not to relate to at least one of the characters, because there's so many different multifaceted people populating this crazy world.

I can't think of this country without Quebec. Je parle francais. And when I think about being a Canadian, speaking French is part of it.

I think the scariest person in the world is the person with no sense of humor.
