I think I was out of the game mentally, ... I was fighting with the umpires, and I was mad at (Murton). ... I apologized to him. I have five years in the big leagues. I don't have to do that.

That was a good at-bat, and I think that was the key of the game. He's getting more comfortable.

It was a long night for the umpires, too. I was only mad because he kept insisting he was right.

I don't think there's any feeling it's unfair. I think the umpires are always challenged to call the game. The game is not an easy game to call to begin with, and I don't think you can allow outside influences to influence how you work a game. I mean, they're professional umpires. I think they do their best to get everything right.

That's a gift from God, ... I'm there to pitch.
