I think if there was a Cinderella team, it was Flanagan. The mere fact that (recognition) happened (in the final) instead of three weeks ago (makes it special).

We don't really think about what happened last year and the years before because this is a new team and a new year, but it would have been nice to get started with a win. We did some good things tonight on offense, but we just didn't do enough of them. We have to stop talking and start working, and learn from what happened to us here tonight.

I don't think a Syracuse team has ever been considered a Cinderella, but its starting to look like the shoe fits, I know that we definitely have the luck of the Irish.

Both teams want to win so bad. I think their team got a little frustrated and things happened. It's a big win for us. We know they're a very capable team. They've had our number early in the season. We had a better team effort from everybody, and we needed it.
