I think it was an extremely difficult year for Todd. It is probably understated to say it's been the most difficult year for any player that has played in the NHL.

They blew the whistle and we just have to live with that call. That's what they saw and it's probably what happened. They were pretty adamant about it.

It's been a very difficult couple of days, as you can imagine. I wasn't able to accomplish the job I was brought here for. I had a vision for this club and it included a Stanley Cup and a parade.

It's huge. Where the standings are and to win with six seconds left in the game, obviously it's extremely uplifting for our group. To win on the power play, especially the way their penalty kill has been against us - it was a big part of their game to shut down our power play, and they did a great job of it through two periods.

I think 'surprised' is understated.

We didn't do good things throughout the entire game. I don't think we had enough guys who worked hard enough and we end up with that type of result when that happens.
