I think it will be hard to get people to vote until there is some differentiation between the state, the government and the [ruling] party-people see them as the same.

He voted the way that state wanted him to vote, ... I mean, he used to call us up. We used to have meetings. We contributed to him. And I kind of look at him now, and I go, 'This is a conversion worthy of investigation by the church.'

The power of the people is much stronger than the people in power

I think you'd be hard-pressed to factually state that those laws or amendments have had any real impact on the states' ability to attract creative talent.
