I think it's a great opportunity for people to come out and have fun. They're not running a marathon. It's great for people who want to come out and test themselves.

When I explain it to people I tell them the decathlon is like running a marathon. You really can't get another one in. It takes a lot out of you. It takes a couple of weeks to recover.

Some people who weren't able to run for more than a couple minutes at once have finished a marathon and they did that within a year starting out in this group.

We believe we are the people who represent the top echelon of marathon running. This is about competition. We believe this is the most exciting thing to happen in our sport in quite some time.

There is a whole new breed of marathoner who wouldn't even have considered running something like a marathon. In the past, people ran if they were exercise junkies. The marathon held the ultimate challenge for them.

To me, running a marathon is one of the ultimate challenges in sport. And for her to do it that many times, wow, she is a strong person. She knows her body, and she knows what she is capable of doing.
