I think it's been a good thing for kids. It exposes them to outdoor things that not all kids might get to try. It's fun to see the girls fishing.

It's going to be interesting. It's definitely going to be cool to see what the kids we're playing against are like. We're going to be eating with them after we play, and we'll be staying with certain players.

This is my second year with the races, and it's real good to see all these kids out here having a great time for a good cause.

We have some young kids who are good. It's just a matter of who's going to play where and who's going to come to battle.

I give a lot of credit to the kids. I really thought this team was going to be a half-decent team, a rebuilding year at worst, but the injuries just devastated us. I (said to the team), 'Throw everything you have at them. I think you can win this game.' And they proved me right.

I can remember summer days when they'd pack us (kids) a lunch and send us out of the house and we would roam around the 160 acres, only coming home for dinner.
