I think it's gotten past the point of frustration for us. When we make a mistake, it seems to beat us. Tonight it was an infield hit. I thought it was a good ballgame and I thought we played well, but we lost.

It was his own fault. He came in overweight and out of shape. He's worked hard the last seven weeks. But he's to blame. Maybe it's a learning experience for him. Maybe he realizes now the big leagues are not easy. You have to work at it to maintain success.

When you get 25 or 30 Canadians together it's going to be a very loose clubhouse. But it's also going to be a very serious clubhouse. We're going into the tournament very serious and ready for it.

Nobody took any issue with it and that hurts. I think (past) city staff has gotten us in a position that we shouldn't really be in.

In the past, we weren't as strong. But now, when one person wins, it helps the rest of us build confidence, too.

We must not condemn to frustration those whose job it is to protect us by failing to provide them with the necessary resources to meet the threats they face.
