I think most of the patients know it's coming. I know I did. It usually hits the spouse or family the hardest.

Many a family tree needs trimming

I walk in here this morning, and I'm leaving my family at home, and I'm hoping and praying that I'll be able to walk out of here and not be carried out.

It's so people know there is a family who does care and has compassion.

We do a lot as a group. There's the monthly meetings where we have speakers and special programs on things like diets. Then there's picnics, the Christmas banquet.
