I think our kids felt like they weren't getting a lot of respect. But they showed a lot of character, and they were very disciplined.

Joe DiMaggio is such an icon, he's almost like a cartoon character, ... I have so much respect for him. When it's all said and done, it's something you can look back on and say that you're proud to be mentioned in the same sentence as Joe.

You've got to respect his character,

Those two kids have a lot of respect for each other, and you can see why. They know they're not going to win if they don't wrestle their best. And I don't think there's any question they bring out the best in each other. They've had some great matches, and this was another one.

We're very humble in that respect. Our kids do not have a sense of invincibility. We're mortal, and we've kept it like that. And it's helped us out.

There was no talk of payback. I have a lot of respect for Don and his kids. They were the better team last year. We were the better team this year.
