I think part of that is because the school is growing, and I'd like to think part of it is because word is getting out about how there is something to be gained by being on this team.

Probably more importantly, we are actually competing with all the top teams in the conference rather than being far behind.

At this point, we have no evidence suggesting it was someone at school, but it was something one of the victims had mentioned.

The staff went through the appropriate protocol, which we just happened to have reviewed with the high school staff this fall. Each school has its own protocol and plan for handling different emergency situations as efficiently and as safely as possible.

Runners from every school in the county are coming. I expect about 500.

Not everyone who applies and gets accepted to the school chooses to attend.
