I think people feel that when they look at the print. The closest thing I can think of is poetry, where the writers distill into a few words some very complex emotions.

I don't dash it off. I spend dozens or hundreds of hours to get a result that is very subtle, rich and mysterious. It forces me to be very selective. I think about an image for a year or more sometimes.

One fine day, in the middle of the night, two dead boys got up to fight. Back to back they faced each other. They pulled out their swords and shot one another. One deaf cop, on the beat heard the noise, and came and shot the two dead boys.

This event is a process with much preparation and it's meant to include as many people as possible when getting ready for it.
