I think serials are particularly tough on Friday. And that is one lesson I've learned.

This is one of those shows that sizzled from pitch to script to finished pilot. Michael Dinner directed a pilot that you can't take your eyes off of. It will certainly be one of the most compelling new Fall series, so we wanted to express our confidence in it now and give the producers the extra lead time to develop the series.

I was excited because deep in our heart and deep in our mind Friday was tough. I think we know that this is it. We've got to take care of things. Going into it, we knew that we had to stay intense and keep each other up. We had conversations about not yelling at each other back and forth, because last game we got down on each other.

We needed a little bit of a break to regroup after the losses. The last one was particularly tough because it was so close and in our grasp. The time off has given us a chance to reflect on what's gone on so far and given us a chance to make some adjustments as a team.

I learned my lesson. I probably got one of the fastest tickets in Virginia. I was doing 161 in a 55.
