I think she was really good as a symbol of the changing face of Canada. That had some positive impact. The symbol of the institution has changed because of her.

The military issue was pretty high profile. The military took a drubbing in a lot of regards and needed some support as it were, some sustenance. I think she gave it to them.

So it's a positive symbol of beauty.

The international award is a symbol of the success that we have had in trying to completely remake this campus for the last 20 years. A lot of people have been working to bring the university into the twenty-first century and to use the campus to show what a quality institution this is.

There is something Canada can do because the ships would have to travel through internal Canadian waters and if the government of Canada says 'no' to the transport of those tankers through those waters, the project would not go ahead,

It simply indicates a level of denial that was going on in the Liberal Party and the Parliament of Canada, if you will in terms of the government because this issue was brought to the floor of the House of Commons back four years ago now.
