I think they knew it was tough being a fat kid in school. They tried to help me lose the weight, but I don't think they knew how to do it themselves.

You grab one or two cookies without even thinking about it. Or if you have something bad in the morning, you say, 'This day is shot. I may as well eat bad tonight.' It's an all or nothing type thing for me.

I'd still like to lose about 20 pounds, but I feel like I'm a whole new person.

It does nothing to help school districts.

If you need help, we are going to set up an after-school program, or talk to the teacher. If we have to stay after every single day, that's what we're going to do. . . . Whatever it takes we're going to do it at Bruce Randolph.

We don't think a school is the proper setting to deal with a serious drug issue. We need the help of the community. The board has stated that they are more than willing to be partners.
