I think they made poor financial decisions for the community. We believe by circulating these petitions and going door-to-door that we have the backing of these people who may have voted for them (Philpot and Neal) and now feel betrayed.

You don't have poor schools for long if the community demands otherwise.

It wasn't really the law firm change per se. They voted to terminate the services of our previous lawyer and hire this firm at a special meeting without any bids.

The people who are contributing to us, they don't want any kind of backlash until this vote is over. Afterwards, yeah, it's all going to come out. We've made a conscious decision just to pay the fine that we're probably going to get levied against us.

He always has to get into racial discussions or the 'poor me' discussions. He can't accept the way things are and go forward with his life. He has to keep stirring up the dirty water.

Sounds like a get poor quick scheme to me.
