I think this year that I proved that I worked hard for four years to earn my stripes, and hopefully there will be other organizations around the league that will see it that way. I love to teach. I love to teach.

She used to be real hard on herself last year and would get frustrated. I think she's worked through that now — this year I don't see it. I see her more focused. Right now, I think she's our most consistent hitter. She's our leader right now, so that's another reason we need her on the court.

He looks lighter, which makes him quicker. He's working extremely hard, which he always has.

I sold some of my tickets this year. I did. I told the league that and I told [team owner] Red McCombs that. I'm not going to lie. But if I'm going to be thrown out this year for selling tickets, then I'm a scapegoat. If I'm guilty of anything, I'm guilty of selling some of my tickets. I am not guilty of buying any player tickets since I've been made the head coach [in January 2002].
