I think we were jumping at the plate a little bit. We were chasing some bad pitches and just weren't able to get a lot of base runners.

The thing about Pedro is that even if he's a little bit gassed, he can make pitches for you, ... I had a feeling that against some of those young, inexperienced hitters, he'd be able to make a pitch, and he did.

We didn't make any pitches. You get good hitters and leave it in the middle of the plate, and they burn you.

It was the good pitching we faced. We helped them out by chasing pitches out of the zone. We were not as disciplined. But we still had a couple of opportunities. We just did not get the hits.

I'm the one that woke them up a little bit by making the pitches that I made. But I look forward to seeing them again, definitely. They're a good team and I like to compete against them.
