I think we?re suppressing our residents, school and students.

Many of these students have a high school diploma or a GED. They're not comfortable going on with their education and they don't have the money.

I resent his comments and don't agree with him being here. I was told from the beginning that if I had anything important to report, I should present it to the entire board. And this was of public record and very important.

Twenty-five thousand of the neediest students don't receive state aid. What we would like to see is that state grants are transparent for students so they can do their financial planning for college, and it can be transferred between institutions and that they are given to the neediest students.
