I think you should come out and show some support for anything in the community.

It's a chance to come out and show community spirit.

Through a program with Community Support services, they place around 50 homeless into apartments every year. Shesler Hall houses about 40 per year and Henry Hall just opened. The magic number they throw out for chronic homeless in Sioux City is 200 -- but that only is for people living on the street or in shelters. That doesn't count people doubling up.

It's a concept we can support, but there are some details that still need to be worked out and DOE needs to improve some of its evaluation and communication.

We're a community and we'd like to keep it that way.

It was a big win for our community. We had great fan support. They were excited.
