I though we played well on defense. We concentrated on boxing out for rebounds this week and we really did that well tonight. I'm very happy with the way we played. We came out strong and our intensity didn't die.

We were just a little too casual. Just a little too casual on defense, not quite boxing out enough, not quite challenging the shooter. And the other teams were taking advantage of it. We have the talent to play with these teams, but when we don't bring our best it's not like we have a big margin for error. We just came back and took care of the little things.

I'm really proud of how the girls finished the season. The came together as a team more than ever.

We just didn't seem to catch that break. But the girls have accomplished a lot more than winning games.

It has been a privilege to coach Jen Rivera. I mean on and off the floor. She'll do what it takes to win the game. She is all about the team; off the court, a good student and just a great person.

These kids know how to win n you've seen it with softball. As a former player, I still think about (not winning a regional). We have some unfinished business to take care of.
