Edgar Johnson, unlike Major Parker, has quite an extensive criminal history. The judge did what he thought was just taking into account all of the circumstances (with a lighter sentence).

Coming off a 7-9 record last season, we thought this year we were at least going to win 10 games. Now there might be changes around here, might be players gone. It's going to be difficult because you might not see some guys again ? at least not for a while.

When (Point Determined) came to me, he pinned his ears and dug in like I thought he would. And he is a very, very versatile horse. I don't think he has to be up there close where he was today. I was four or five behind, just tracking them, and he was doing it all on his own. I could not have been more pleased with the way he was traveling underneath me. He was relaxed. I really think the sky is the limit with this horse. I'm excited.

I am a little disappointed. Some of these guys are here for the second time and thought they would just come in and seal the deal. Everyone here wants the exact same thing.
