I thought I was 100 percent at the beginning, but they wanted to protect my leg at first. Then our offense kind of struggled, and they sent me in. Alex Rogers has worked hard this week, and he deserved to start. We just picked it up after the first quarter.

This is a goal we put up on the board at the beginning of the year. It's a goal Sara has had for four years. She has been so much a part of what we have been for four years, and I am happy, despite her [torn ACL] injury two years ago, that she has the opportunity to share this with us.

At the beginning of the season, everybody wants to be able to wrestle down at Madison in February. It feels real good to do that (for the first time) in my senior year.

We've done this all season. We've had a target on our back since the beginning of the season. We've been able to make the plays we've needed to get it done in the end. We've done it all season. It's just what this team does.

In the beginning there was (some nervousness) because of the fact that you're playing in a final, but once we started off well, everything went away and it was a normal game.

When I saw it it looked like a new beginning. It looked like something being born.
