I thought it was extremely informative. There were a lot of aspects of the department that I had no idea how they operated. I was amazed with how much they do with the resources they have.

It's always fun to shoot the guns; we also did the role playing. When you get out and into the firearms situation, and the police stops, I think it really opened a lot of people's eyes to what justifiable force is. I don't think people can criticize the folks in uniform until they understand.

I think it's a great event; it's a very worthy cause. I think it's a unique event for Ames and for Special Olympics Iowa. I think they're pretty innovative doing an event like this.

I thought we took care of the ball well against their pressure and got some good shots.

We wanted to keep the game close, and I thought we did that by playing our butts off physically tonight.

You could feel it slipping away. I really thought we could have come back had we adjusted to their 3-point shooters. . . . They just shot the ball so well.
