I thought our defense was unbelievable. Losing a tournament with a goal against average is almost unheard of.

That's why we're losing. When we're down, we pull together. We trust each other out there on defense, and on offense, we make extra passes. That's the sense of urgency we got to have through the whole game. If we start with it, we stay close.

Since it works, we're going to keep doing it until we go on a losing streak.

I'm never satisfied with losing, but I thought at times they showed signs of what they're capable of doing. If we do that on a consistent basis, we could be very good.

Pitching and defense won't win it for you, but it will keep you from losing. It kept us in there until our offense got going.

[Our goal] is to talk on defense. [We need] to clear the ball so our offense can just take over.
