I thought, this is going to be like time travel.

I filmed them in their (cultural orientation) classes in Kenya. They opened up very quickly to me. I was very moved by that and attributed that to a wonderful interpreter that I found whom they trusted.

Sometimes I would go for a special event, like a baby-naming ceremony. And sometimes I would just go and hang out with them.

Last year we thought we were finally going to turn the corner ... we actually saw a slight decline in travel. So we were half-right last year.

It's the travel. I thought it wouldn't be quite as bad for a guy coming out of Brandon, with all of the bus trips. But it hasn't been easy for us, that's for sure.

There's going to be space travel at some point.
