But there's been no dialogue. With the new direction they've thought about going, I don't know if I'm in their plans. I don't know what they're waiting for.

It's gotten old. Regardless of what your stance is on what he's done, how he did it, whether he was enhanced or not enhanced, I think a lot of players and people in general are fed up with the constant talk surrounding this. The guy's coming up on some immortal names, Ruth and Aaron, yet there isn't the sense of celebration that's usually attached to great feats.

His foresight seemed to work out in my situation,

I'm not very (comfortable) with that, but I know that it's a realistic situation that I need to become more comfortable with, ... Not to point any fingers, but there are people in the organization now who aren't into long-term deals.

You've got your horse out there, and he pitches his butt off in that situation, it's my job to nail it down. Unfortunately, it provided a little bit of momentum for these guys going into tomorrow.
