I thought we deserved to win that game. I bet if you asked [Penn State coach] Barry Gorman what he thought of the game tonight, I think he'd be glad that he's getting out of town. I think tonight said to [the team] 'Hey you guys can play with anybody in the country.

This will certainly be a special trip for our program. I know that the guys are looking forward to competing against some of the top clubs in Europe as well as immersing themselves in the Dutch football culture. The fact that we are able to see Bruce and the US national team compete against Germany is a special bonus. This will be a huge boost for our young team as we continue preparations for the 2006 season.

If you give good teams time and space on the ball they become great. We knew Penn State was a good team so we needed to really do a good job of pressuring the ball.

I think (Stith) thought I was more of an asset up top - not me scoring the most, but me being able to motivate and create.

I thought he must be really good at it or something.

Almeyda is a player I thought would have done a good job for us. But he has decided to stay in Argentina because of family problems and we have to respect his decision and move on.
