I share this story to give other parents a warning about what can happen with the cost of health care in Oregon that is out of control. I believe that exposing a wide range of prices will help consumers stand up and demand more accountability for the money we are paying for hospital care.

Many of these children's parents were not educated and don't understand that if you don't keep up oral health it can affect everyday health. There are kids that are in so much pain with a toothache that they can't focus in class, eat meals or sleep at night and if the problem goes untreated it will just get worse.

$10 million dollars being set aside for other health care providers, regardless of their capacity or ability to provide family planning, and another $2.5 [million] being set aside for fake clinics? So we perceive this as irrational decisions, irrational allocation of funds and a purely political move by the Legislature.
