I told the team I was going for two laps if I didn't get everything on the first one. I ran it again and she felt pretty good. It was pretty darn close to a perfect lap. If anybody can beat it, they can have it.

Like I said, I'm better off having a teammate that doesn't even talk to me or does anything than one that works against me, and that's what I've had to deal with the last five years.

We'd rather be first, but getting into the Chase was the goal. What you try to do every week now is have no DNFs, get a few wins and have good results each week.

Obviously, we're not happy about being 10th, but we've got 10 races to get into first.

There were still two laps to go and it should have been my last lap. Then I thought just one more lap. I was just trying to stay on my feet.

In fact this was first told to me by Arnold Palmer a few years back. He said that that's one of the biggest problems, that we need to tighten down on the grooves because it's too easy to get out of the rough, especially for the best players.
